s'Wirtshaus am See in Friedrichshafen

Friendly service, fast delivery and the food tasted really good. Is recommended 😄

I ordered a voucher for 30 euros on the website. The money was debited, but the voucher never arrived. I've already asked three times by phone and asked for the voucher to be sent, nothing ever happened. After writing an appropriate review, I finally got help.

We went here for Christmas last year and the staff was really friendly! Our food was delicious and the position by the lake is also nice if you want to go for a walk after dinner. The interior looks nice and fits with the "Wirtshaus" style and kitchen.

I felt very comfortable here. There was a very good atmosphere here and I completely cleaned up the delicious food, which was very plentiful. My friends were surprised too. Thank you ♥ ️ for the nice evening

We ate very well here on our visit in October. The service was quick and friendly. The view of the lake completes the whole.

Me and my wife had a nice and cozy meal there, when we arrived all seats were reserved inside, without a reservation we got a seat outside, that was not a problem. My wife had the boiled beef and I had the goulash, impeccable service which also brought warming blankets, radiant heaters were also there, the food came quickly and was really excellent. Prices are a little higher than expected, but with a direct view of the lake, of course okay. I can only recommend the Wirtshaus am See, next time we'll reserve in good time.

Great food, good service.

Positive: The dishes are delicious and not too small either. A compliment to the chef! Unfortunately negative: Unfortunately, we had several hundred (!) Fruit flies at our table, which ended up in our beers as well as on our food. After a note to the waiter we were allowed to switch to the next table, but this did not bring any improvement. At some point the beers turned out to be the reason: at some point there were more than 100 fruit flies on our mugs (see photo), so drinking the beers was impossible. The food could also not be enjoyed due to the incredible number of flies. Unfortunately, at the end there were still discussions about the fact that the beer - although not drinkable for obvious reasons and not drunk by us - could not be taken from the bill, allegedly because the boss was no longer there. Instead, we were offered an espresso on the house as compensation. After some unpleasant discussion it suddenly worked, but there was no more espress. Given that the prices called up are cautiously anything but low, there should be no such discussion about two beers. We would have simply expected a short apology, a discussion-free cancellation of the almost untouched beers and a small compensation on the house, preferably the aforementioned espresso. Then we would have come again, but unfortunately we can only advise against a visit. Another negative: it was unfortunately consistently forgotten to serve the promised bread with the salads or starters. With us as at the neighboring tables. Also: Someone from the boss should explain to the waiters that the mask should also cover the nose and not just the lower lip and chin! All in all, only 2 stars.

The order was taken very quickly and the food was not long in coming. It tasted really good. The bill came straight away, which was great. I can only recommend it!

We recommend. Very delicious food and great service, and of course a great location right on the lake. We were 7 days at Lake Constance and this restaurant was by far the best. Everything worked together perfectly. To be 100% recommended.

After we had recovered from the shock of the prices on the menu, we went out very quickly. Tourism corner and a good location are one thing, but in my eyes this is simply a rip off. Which is also confirmed when you read through many of the other reviews. We will never know whether the food here is really delicious, as some write, because I don't give such outrageous "pricing" a chance.

We came to this place for breakfast. At first, the waiter forgot to put our order in the system. After we mentioned this, he forgot half of our order. In the end we’ve waited really long for just half of our food. When we mentioned this at the payment, the waiter didn’t seem to care - no explanation or apologies. More positive: the food that we did get, tasted good.

It was lunchtime and the outdoor management was well used. After a few minutes of waiting we got a table and were able to place our order promptly. The drinks came in no time at all, we had to wait about 15 minutes (very acceptable) for food. Our salad with grilled chicken strips was plentiful, tasted delicious, the meat was hot - we loved it. The staff were busy, but friendly and attentive. Of course, the price range on the lakeside promenade is a bit higher, but that's understandable and you just have to accept it - nobody is forced to eat there. For us the price / performance ratio was ok and we were very satisfied with both the food and the service!

Very nice restaurant right on Lake Constance. We made a reservation and then got a table in the beer garden facing the lake. The dishes are great, very well presented and very tasty in terms of taste. The waitresses are very attentive and very friendly. We are happy to come back and can only recommend it!

Food came very quickly. Wasn't quite hot. But still good in taste. Despite the many service staff with a small number of guests (due to bad weather) There was rarely anyone at the table. We had to wait 10 minutes for the bill. We will test it again and hopefully with a great view 👍😄🙋

The taste of the best that we tried on our trip. Unfortunately, you almost always have to queue and wait, but the panorama, the friendly service and the food make up for it. Not very cheap in terms of price but for the above Points are okay again. Highly recommended from our side.

The s'Wirtshaus am See is one of the great restaurants of Germanic gastronomy in the Schwäbische (Swabian) specialty. The staff are very welcoming and are dressed in traditional German attire. The restaurant is located on the lakeside promenade and operates in beer garden mode in the evening from 10 p.m. The restaurant has an indoor room and a large terrace on the promenade facing Lake Bodensee. The place is clean until the toilet. The price is reasonable compared to the quality and quantity of the dishes. A large parking lot is next to the entrance to Friedrichshafen harbor. A reservation is recommended for dinner.

Very tasty and first class service. For my taste there could have been more onions on the cheese spaetzle. The side salad was very large, at other restaurants you don't even get half of it. The waiter was very quick and attentive - keep it up!

I've been there 4 times now and it has become my new favorite restaurant. You get your food incredibly quickly and that's really world class! Very good selection, also for vegetarians. The staff is always very friendly and you feel very comfortable. The perfect location and view make your stay perfect. Come from Heilbronn and will be happy to come back if we are on our way in that direction.

Friendly staff and warm service with a fantastic lakeview. We really enjoyed their schitzel with spatzle.

We ate chicken with mushroom sauce, but it was not tasty. For this taste, prices are expensive. Nothing special other than Kostanz lake view.

Really good food. We were Sunday evening and everything went really well. Nice service, great food. A really nice evening! You should reserve on Sundays, but this is understandable at this inn. We would love to come back.

Sehr gute Rump Steak (personally, I prefer black pepper sauce) it was definately what it was written on the memu. Expensive but Better! However, The price is surely affordable. Unfortunately, we couldn't order Schweinhaxen 'cuase it was available only on Friday/Saturday. And, they have also good beer taste, I recommend Kristalweisen with steak. Serving Guy in the restaurant was so nice. Good memories there.

My family and myself spend the New Year’s Eve at this place, we had a great time , food very delicious, staff very friendly and knowledgeable, our waiter spoke as well our language (Romanian ) it was much easier for my parents to understand, the restaurant has a great location right on the promenade, sea view , recommend the place !!

Delicious meal by the water, and wonderful view of the Swiss Alps across Lake Constance. I had the Schweinehaxe (Pork Knuckle) and it was the best I've ever had. All of the food was delicious, the prices were fair, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

Food is good, above average, but service is killing the mood. I've been there several times and always I have to wait for waiter to take my order, then again long wait for the food, and again to pay for the meal. Last time I had to wait 1h, and remind myself to waiter. Go there with some good read, cause you gonna spend there more time than you planned.

The beef Burger with homemade potato pancake instead of bread was awesome ☺️

Very good food and friendly staff. If you want to eat well and happen to be in Friedrichshafen, you should definitely visit this restaurant. On some days it can be a bit crowded, so I recommend reserving a table. It is also suitable for groups and you will not wait long for your food.
